Graduate of International Economic and Political Relations, University of Warsaw.

Ph.D. student at the Warsaw School of Economics (Economic and Social College).

Joined Lewiatan Polish Confederation of Private Employers in 2002. Since 2004, she has been responsible for structural funds and cohesion policy; Structural Funds Department Director since 2007.

Marzena was a member of Monitoring Committees, which operated in 2004-2006. Member of the NSRO Co-ordinating Committees for: Innovative Economy OP and Human Capital OP. Chair of Working Party for Adaptability and Knowledge Transfer in MC HC OP; she discusses ESF intervention strategies for employers and entrepreneurs. She represents employers in employer groups and ESF established in 2008 in the framework of the "Simple Funds" Campaign of the Ministry of Regional Development.

Since 2014, Marzena has represented Polish employers in the European Social Fund Committee in the European Commission.

Her professional focus is on cohesion policy and its enterprise support system, monitoring and evaluating  operational programs, including project selection criteria; she reviews and develops recommendations for EU fund utilisation in Poland.
