Let’s polish climate policy – Lewiatan’s perspective on 2030 framework

The Polish Confederation Lewiatan has a pleasure to invite you for a discussion: „Let's polish climate policy - Lewiatan's perspective on 2030 framework".The event will take place on October 8th (3.00-4.30 p.m.) at the premises of the Polish Permanent Representation to the EU (Rue Stevin 139, 1000 Brussels).
The event will start off with a welcoming speech by Mr Marek Prawda (Permanent Representative of the Republic of Poland to the EU) and Mr Jakub Wojnarowski (Deputy Director General, Polish Confederation Lewiatan). It will be followed by a presentation of the Lewiatan's position and proposals for new instruments of the 2030 climate framework (based on two position papers - their summary in the attachment). We will then move on to a short panel discussion. In the panel there will be representatives of Polish energy company, Polish Cement Association and BusinessEurope - the biggest association of European industry. The aim of the panel is to hear the practical, economic and policy views on the proposed solutions. The event will conclude with an open discussion with the audience.
A light cocktail will be served at the end.
We believe that this conference is a unique opportunity for the policy and law makers in Brussels to learn the views of the Polish business on the 2030 climate framework and to provide with some useful and constructive solutions.
